My first choice for Busan has always been Canvas Hostel but during this trip, they aren’t able to entertain guests that arrive beyond 9 PM KST.
Not gonna lie, it was probably a blessing in disguise since I’ve read that their service declined during the pandemic (ðŸ˜).
I wanted to stay in the area because I know I would be able to reach Haeundae beach faster so I probably spent days trying to figure out where is a good place to stay. Part of me was debating if staying in an Airbnb would be cheaper than staying in a hotel but after finding out this place well cost-wise, it was the better option for me.
Using Canvas Hostel as the pin, Ibis budget Ambassador Busan Haeundae was literally just a street across! The location was perfect and the price was not that expensive or was still within the budget.

I didn’t have to adjust to the area since I was already familiar and I was still close to Haeundae Beach.
Originally, I was supposed to choose Standard Twin Bed Room but I saw their Standard 2 Single Beds Ocean View. The one with the ocean view only had an additional 500 PHP (less than $10) per night so I chose that one instead!
Bus stops and bus stations are the same as before –

Coming from Gimhae International Airport, we took a cab to the hotel. You can pay using your credit card just in case you don’t have cash with you.
