We went back to Seattle this 2018 and decided to spend New Year’s Eve there. We skipped some touristy things we already did back in 2016 (click me for our 2016 Seattle and Portland itinerary)
Day 1 (Seattle)
- Sky train to Pacific Central
- Light breakfast at Pacific Central (there’s A&W inside)
- Bus to Seattle
- Check in at the Executive Inn by the Space Needle :
- Dinner at Shake Shack :
- Walked to Starbucks Reserve, Roastery and Tasting Room : Starbucks Reserve, Roastery and Tasting Room and Waterfront in Seattle (How to go and what to expect)
- Walk back home

we wanted to try the Seattle Exclusive burger but it was unavailable during our first visit
Day 2 (Leavenworth)
- Check out Executive Inn by the Space Needle
- Pick up car from Enterprise (car rental service)
- Drive to Leavenworth (it takes 4 hours to reach Leavenworth)
- Check in Best Western Plus Wenatchee :
- Drive back to Leavenworth town
- Dinner at King Ludwig’s Gasthaus :
- Starbucks (I actually asked my parents if we can stay for a while because I was going to buy tickets to The Great Seungri in Manila concert!)
- Walked around Leavenworth town :
- Drive back to Wenatchee

we got a platter that’s supposed to be good for four but we felt like it was too much for us. I suggest to order it per dish.
Day 3 (Leavenworth)
- Check out from Best Western Plus Wenatchee
- Drive to Leavenworth town
- Lunch at Viscontis
- Walked around Leavenworth
- We chose to spend the little time we have at Waterfront Park
- Drive back to Seattle (it takes 4 hours to arrive in Seattle)
- Check in at Executive Inn by the Space Needle
- Dinner at Duke’s Seafood and Chowder at Chandler’s Cove : Seattle: Where to eat part 1 (Loulay’s, Duke’s Chowder House in Chandler’s Cove, The Cheesecake Factory)

Day 4 (Seattle)
- St James Cathedral to attend mass (prettiest Cathedral I’ve seen! It was my first time to experience a 360 degress mass!!)
- Pike Place Market
- Lunch at Lowell’s Restaurant : First Ever Starbucks Store and Pike’s Place Market in Seattle (How to go and what to expect)
- TJ Maxx (downtown Seattle)
- Molly Moon
- catching the sunset at Kerry Park (come here if you have time! It’s quite far and we rode the car to get here)
- Dinner at Shake Shack
- Drive back home
I got a double scoop of the union coffee!
but it was available during our second visit to Shake Shack!! After trying, I preferred their Shack Burger but it was worth the try since it was only exclusive in Seattle!
Day 5 (Seattle; New Year’s Eve)
- Return car at Enterprise
- Lunch at Yard House
- Nordstrom Rack
- Walk around Downtown Seattle
- Pike Place Market area:
- Beecher’s Handmade Cheese
- Pike Place Chowder
- Rest at the hotel
- Woke up and walked towards the Space Needle for the New Year countdown

- Check out from Executive Inn by the Space Needle :
- bus to the bus terminal
- rode back to Vancouver
- back in Vancouver
Our second time in Seattle was pretty laid back as compared to the first time we were there back in 2016.
