Seattle : Where to Eat part 2 (Shake Shack, Molly Moon, Yard House, Pike Place Chowder)

My family and I went back to Seattle during 2018 and we were able to discover new restaurants! (You can read part 1 here)

I used La Quinta Inns & Suites even if we didn’t stay here on our second visit but it would be easier if you will use La Quinta as your starting point since it was the starting point in part 1 of Seattle: Where to eat

1. Shake Shack

I have tried Shake Shack in Seoul during the earlier part of 2018 but I was excited to try it in the States!

How to go to Shake Shack :
Address: 2115 Westlake Ave, Seattle, WA 98121, USA

Super near to La Quinta!!

There’s usually a long line in Shake Shack so it would be best if you’re earlier than “lunch” or “dinner” time.

you order via the iPad as soon as you enter

there are menus on the side of the iPads for you to see what you’d like to order

but it was available during our second visit to Shake Shack!! After trying, I preferred their Shack Burger but it was worth the try since it was only exclusive in Seattle!

2. Molly Moon

Part of where we went to in Seattle in this recent trip is in Kerry Park and I read that there is a “must eat” ice cream place near the park.

When we arrived at Kerry Park, we were too early for the sunset so we decided to walk to Molly Moon and kill time there.

How to go to Molly Moon (near Kerry Park) :
Address: 321 W Galer St Seattle WA 98119

(the map I have doesn’t have Kerry Park in it huhu so I can’t visually show you where it is)

There are also other branches of Molly Moon which you can see here

4. Pike Place Chowder

My brother mentioned that Pike Place Chowder has won a lot of awards for having the best clam chowder in Seattle, so we decided to try Pike Place Chowder during our last day.

Pike Place Chowder has two branches, the one we went to was near Pike Place Market.

How to go to Pike Place Chowder (near Pike Place Market) :
Address: 1530 Post Alley, Seattle, WA 98101

The other Pike Place Chowder branch that offers more than chowders (as per their website):
Address: 600 Pine Street, 4th Floor, Seattle, WA 98101

You can read more about both locations here.

My family loved Pike Place Chowder but personally my top chowder would be from Duke’s Chowder House.
