ps. check out the Pokemon store inside the airport if you have time. If you’re a fan they have limited edition New Chitose Airport only products!

I would really recommend you to join a tour group if you want to go around Hokkaido since the places outside Sapporo were quite far from each other. It would take us maybe around 2.5 – 4 hours in transit to get to some of those places. Also, I would also advice to make your Hokkaido trip longer than 7 days so you’d get to go around and see more places.
ps. rather than telling you which tour group we got for this trip, I would like to encourage you to contact our tour guide instead. He works freelance and he could help you during your upcoming Hokkaido trip. He is one of the nicest people I’ve met!
His name is Hiro and you can contact him thru his e-mail at cbc82270@pop21.odn.ne.jp
