Just like what I mentioned from my previous blog post, we joined a tour for this Hokkaido trip so I cannot give the “how to” of some places. But I did my best to take down notes and took photos of the “how to” of the places that we went to in Sapporo. It was mostly spontaneous so I would like to apologize in advance if there are directions that aren’t as clear.
Odori Park
During our time there, our tour guide mentioned that there was a festival held in Odori Park where they served beer, wine, ramen, beef, ice cream you name it!
We decided to head to Odori Park to check it out!
How to go to Odori Park:
Odori Park is N07 from the train and coming from Sapporo Station you need to pay 200 Yen for the fare

Taking a photo on the Sapporo sign
I noticed there were some people who posted their photos on a Sapporo sign so I asked my dad to help me find the place and it turns out he knows where I can find it! The place is just accross Odori Park! It’s in front of the clock tower.

Sapporo Beer Factory
We were almost unable to visit the factory since a week before we arrived there was an earthquake in Hokkaido. Fortunately the factory already opened it’s doors when we arrived! The only downside we faced was that the tasting room was closed when we were there because it was a holiday 💔
How to go to Sapporo Beer Factory:
We actually told our tour guide to drop us off the beer factory after our day trip to Biei then we walked home. It was quite far so I would suggest that you take a cab to the Beer Factory.
There is also a restaurant accross the Beer Museum and a gift shop. If you want to eat beef and lamb, I’d recommend the restaurant accross the Beer Museum.

Susukino Shopping District
My parents already went to Sapporo before so my dad already knew about Susukino. It’s a long alley of shops that’s similar to Shinsaibashi (if you know the place or have been here).
How to go to Susukino Shopping District:
From Sapporo Station, Susukino is at N08 so same as Odori Park you have to pay 200 yen for the one way train ride.

Shopping at 5 Floored Daiso
How to go to the 5 Floored Daiso:
From the Susukino Shopping District, find the area with number 1

Ippudo Ramen
How to go to Ippudo Ramen:
From Susukino Shopping District, find the area with number 6

Exploring Sapporo JR Station
There are a lot of shops and restaurants inside Sapporo JR Station and outside as well.
We didn’t have much time in Sapporo so we only had a chance to have dinner inside the station but I would recommend this place to those who wants to discover restaurants and shop.
