During our recent trip, we decided to head over to Victoria for a day. We rented a car since it was easier to go around with it. If you don’t have a car or didn’t rent one, there are local companies who have day packages to Victoria (via bus).
The car/bus will not be your only mode of transportation as you will also ride a ferry before getting to Victoria.
Vancouver to Victoria:
1. We drove our car up to Tsawwassen dock
2. Pay tickets at the ticket booth for your vehicle size plus the number of people inside your vehicle
3. Line up to aboard the ferry
4. After arriving at Swartz Bay Terminal, there will be more or less a 30 minute drive before you actually reach Victoria

If you don’t have a car or you can’t rent one, there are different alternatives on how you can get to Victoria.
