Continuing from my Squamish post, I mentioned earlier that we allotted 2 days in Whistler. We didn’t do much during the first day but we just went around the place and try to see what we can do the next day (huhu we didn’t do much research before going to the place).
What to do:
Whistler Village
Nothing much to do here but do sightseeing and take a look at local shops. Perfect for those who want to just chill or eat (so much restaurants to choose from).

Peak to Peak Gondola Ride (Whistler Mountain and Blackcomb Mountain)
For our second day in Whistler, we decided ride the cable car and go to the peak of Whistler and Blackcomb Mountain.

Where to eat:
1. Sushi Village
We haven’t had Japanese food for a while so my dad suggested that we dine in Sushi Village.
I just noticed now that even if the place is called “Sushi Village”, none of us ordered sushi!!

2. Warehouse
We got curious about this place since their posters outside said “$4.95 all food, all day, everyday”
This place is just okay. Nothing special about the food they were offering but a good choice for those who want to save up on food costs.

3. Roundhouse Lodge (Whistler Mountain)
We were at the peak during lunch time so we really don’t have a choice but to dine at the (only) restaurant. I noticed that the restaurants at the peak has a food court style so I guess you have some choices in food?

4. Misty Mountain Pizza
We were so happy there was a pizza place just a floor down of Teppan Valley (scroll down).
Everyone was sooo hungry and we didn’t know if we will be given a table in Teppan Valley, so while waiting we ordered 2 slices then we split the slice into two so we can all share and just have enough food inside our tummy since we didn’t want to overeat.

5. Teppan Village
(TIP if you want to eat here: RESERVE EARLY)
This was definitely one of our “fanciest” restaurants that we dinned in during the whole trip.
We didn’t expect that there will be an available table for us since the place was fully booked (it was Christmas eve during that time)!! We had our names pencil booked just in case there will be guests who didn’t show up for during their time slot. It was a huge hit or miss for us since we have a bus to catch (going back to Squamish).
Luckily there was a family who failed to show up for their time slot so we were given a table!

I feel like we weren’t able to maximize our stay in Whistler since we didn’t go skiing. But on the other hand if we did go skiing, I feel like we won’t be able to enjoy and take our time to absorb the magnificent view at the peak of both mountains.
**June 2018 update on Where to eat**
6. Stonesedge (located inside Adara Hotel)
Good place for burgers and fries!

7. Cows Ice Cream (you’ll find Cows on your right before the bridge which leads to the Olympic Village)
