ACT III: M.O.T.T.E. (September 1)
G-Dragon (born Kwon Ji Yong) is the leader of Big Bang aka. my #1 group for life, so I was obviously excited when it was announced that Manila will be one of his stopovers for ACT III: M.O.T.T.E. At first I didn’t have anyone to watch it with but luckily one of my friends back in college told me that she was also a fan so we went together!!! (ty Karen!!)
There might be some who are curious why is that the title of his concert.
ACT III actually represents the beginning of the third decade in his life (he’s actually already 30 in Korean age).
M.O.T.T.E. on the other hand or 모태 in Korean actually means mother’s womb in Korean but it also served as an acronym – Moment of Truth The End
In one of the interviews or videos that was released, he wanted people to remember him as Kwon Ji Yong because most people know him as G-Dragon and he felt that Kwon Ji Yong is more important and different than G-Dragon so he wanted to “introduce” himself. On the first half of June, he released his self titled EP Kwon Ji Yong which has songs that are filled with his feelings and thoughts for the past 3 decades in his life.
This concert was actually part of his promotion for his self titled EP.

White Night (September 22)
Weeks before ACT III: M.O.T.T.E. in MNL was happening, there was an announcement that one of the stops for White Night will be in MNL. I was freaking out because White Night is Taeyang’s solo concert!!
Taeyang (born Dong Young Bae) is also part of Big Bang (again aka. my #1 group for life) so it made me excited!!! What made me (my wallet) not happy was the fact that his concert was the same month as ACT III: M.O.T.T.E. but being a (die hard) Big Bang fan, Karen and I decided to just close our eyes and buy those tickets!!
I was excited to see Taeyang perform because he is famous for his smooth vocals and killer dance performances and he always makes sure to give his best!! (the photos can totally prove it)
This concert is part of his promotion for his third studio album, White Night, which he released during the initial second half of August.
He spoke a lot of Filipino and really did his best to interact with fans. He even gave a lot of his wardrobe???? He kept on throwing them!!! Those fans who caught them are so lucky!!!
