I’ve been curious about the viral dishes that became popular in Shanghai. There are a lot of restaurants serving crab roe rice and crab roe noodles, but I decided to try this restaurant since it was near the place we were heading to afterward.
Li Bai Xie The Bund & Yuyuan Garden Store 李百蟹·蟹黄面(外滩·豫园店) address – 上海市黄浦区外滩22号中山东二路22号3楼(正对外滩江景、东方明珠、三件套)
It was a bit hard for us to find the restaurant since there were no signs that I could see. I had to check the address on the building. You can find the restaurant inside Bund 22.

There were signs as soon as we got inside. It’s not the only restaurant in the building, so be careful! The restaurant you’re looking for is on the third floor.

As soon as we got up, there were SO MANY people!! I asked one of the staff what we needed to do if we wanted to dine there, and she instructed us to go to a room where we could get a queue number.

You can scan the QR code using WeChat so you can see where you are in the queue.

We waited a good 30–40 minutes before it was finally our turn to eat.

It didn’t take long for all our orders to arrive.

I think if you’re eating here, it’s better to order the rice. If you want noodles, I’d recommend ordering them at Jia Jia Tang Bao instead.
