My parents went to Sapporo years ago and randomly found a place that had really good food.
They didn’t remember the name, but my dad still knew exactly where it was.
It’s between Odori Station and Susukino Station

The restaurant is actually near the huge Don Quijote store and the Tanukikoji Shopping Street.

Restaurant view from outside!

We arrived just before 8 pm and the restaurant was still fully booked! My dad asked the staff to put us on the waitlist and told us to come back at 9 pm.
We wandered around Don Quijote inside Tanukikoji Shopping Street but didn’t buy anything because we lost track of time! After spending over 50 minutes there, we rushed to the restaurant and made it just in time for our slot!

Thankfully, they have an English menu.

My brother was the one who ordered for us this time since our dad forgot what they got lol. He only remembered that the restaurant was good!
We got Ushinoya Ribs, Ushinoya Thick Skirt, Hokkaido intestine, Raw Lamb Seasoned Genghis Khan, Beef Tongue, Hokkaido Fatty Pork, and Sticking Out Thick Skirt. The names sound funny but that was what was written on the menu 😭.

all photos were taken using an iPhone 13 Pro Max / Fujifilm X-T20 18-55 mm
I’m not sure if it tasted good because we were hungry or if it was actually that good haha! But everyone enjoyed their dishes.
I love yakiniku, so for me, it was great! I got to try a bunch of different cuts and types of meat, and that made me really happy! Come here after you shop around Tanukikoji Shopping Street or Susukino Streetcar Stop and would want grilled food!
