While I was looking for places to check out around the city, I stumbled upon this “mall.”
It’s located between Sapporo Station and Odori Station. My brother and I decided to walk over since we were pretty close to Sapporo Station.

Coming from Sapporo Station, we just followed Google Maps. It wasn’t a long walk, and we didn’t get tired since the weather was really nice.

You’ll spot a huge “Factory” sign, and that’s your signal that you’re getting close!

I didn’t expect that we’d come across the Kaitakushi Beer Brewery. It was the first brewery they opened to develop Sapporo Beer.

We only went inside the atrium, but there were lots of areas to explore. There’s a shopping area and even a movie theatre.

There were so many restaurant options to choose from, but we ended up going with the Okonomiyaki restaurant, Fugetsu.

Ordering was done through a QR code that will take you to the website. My brother got an okonomiyaki with meat, a seafood variant, takoyaki, intestines, and grilled scallop.
I’m used to someone making the okonomiyaki for us, BUT this time we had to do it ourselves! Thankfully my brother felt like it was exciting so he took it upon himself to cook because he knows I might just burn the food.
There are instructions to show you how to cook, haha!

After we finished our food, we paid the bill like usual, right? But I was shocked to see how they do it!
You scan your receipt at a machine, then insert your bills and coins there.

We got Dippin’ Dots after, since we don’t have the rainbow flavor in the Philippines anymore, before leaving the place.
I was about to get cookies and cream when I got to the counter, but then I thought, I can have that flavor anywhere, but not the rainbow Dippin’ Dots!

After we left the atrium, we went into this area that seemed like it was supposed to be a tour spot or something, to see how the beer is actually brewed.
There was no one else inside, just one staff member checking on the brewing process.

We took a few more pics around the area before officially leaving~

all photos were taken using an iPhone 13 Pro Max / Fujifilm X-T20 18-55 mm
If you’re coming to Sapporo during the holidays, add this to your list. I heard the atrium looks beautiful with all the Christmas lights.
If you’re looking for something a bit different within Sapporo city, this is definitely worth checking out too.
