We missed out on joining the tour the first time because we arrived late, so I made sure to do proper research the second time we went.
You can book your reservations for the premium tour here (click me). It’s not required though, since you can still walk around and buy draft beers without it.
The page is in English so it’s easy to book. Just make sure to check when reservations open because the slots fill up fast.

The easiest way to get to the Sapporo Beer Garden is by bus since there’s not much walking involved. But if you’re not used to riding buses or don’t feel comfortable, it might be better to get off at Naebo Station instead.

We took a cab when we went because my mom couldn’t walk much at the time.

There are signs showing where to go, and all you have to do is follow the one that says “reception.”

After showing our reservation confirmation and paying 1,000 Yen per person, they gave us an English guide for the tour.
I kind of regretted not getting the 500 Yen audio guide though, since most of the explanations were in Japanese (except for the video part of the tour).

They handed us our premium pass and told us to go up the 3F.

The tour wasn’t too long and there is a part where the free tour and premium tour groups merge, but the guide stays with you until the beer tasting part.

After the tour, we dropped by the gift shop and got some shirts and matching mugs since we came as a family. Just something to remember the trip by.

We took some pics before heading out for dinner.

If you love beer, I think this place is worth checking out! The draft beer here tastes super refreshing.
There’s also a restaurant next to the beer museum, so you can stop by for lunch or dinner too!
