Menya Yukikaze (麵屋雪風) (How to go, what to expect)

I saw that this is one of the best ramen spots in Sapporo, so we had to try it since my dad loves ramen.

I asked my parents if they wanted to take the train or walk to the place, and they chose to walk. Please do not follow our example because my mom had so many regrets afterward.

It was more than a 30-minute walk from our place 💀.

Here’s what I’d recommend! You can get off at two different stations, but I think getting off at Hosuisusukino Station is the better option since there will be less walking.

Take the train to Hosuisusukino Station and exit through Exit 7.

This is what the restaurant looks like from the outside. We arrived around 1 PM and there was still a line. Thankfully, it was not too long and we did not have to wait very long.

place was small and cozy!

The staff gave us an English menu while we were waiting, so we could decide what to order before it was our turn.

my dad and I got the Noukou Miso Ramen while my mom and brother got the Kara Miso Ramen and an order of Gyoza to share!

When it was our turn to sit, the staff told us we had to split into pairs because space was really limited. So it was my mom and me at one table, and my dad and brother at another.

If you’re coming as a big group, I think it might be a bit difficult to eat here.

you can see the chefs preparing your meal!

I was shocked by the number of signatures inside the restaurant. I knew it was good, but I didn’t realize it was this famous.

Since the staff took our order while we were waiting, the food was served shortly after we sat down.

The ramen was definitely interesting. I had never tasted anything like it, and even the noodles were different. I’m so glad we came here because it wasn’t the usual type of ramen we’re used to.

Watch my Sapporo travel film here!
