8 Days 7 Nights Itinerary in Seoul

Autumn season has been a dream for my dad and me as we haven’t experienced the season. We haven’t had the chance as our yearly work trip ruins the timing.

This year, I told my parents to skip the work trip (😂) since I want to fly them both to Seoul to celebrate both my dad’s birthday and to experience autumn!

I read that one of the best times to experience autumn is late October to early November. I booked 3rd week to 4th week of October but I guess climate change is so bad that 2024 autumn was not the autumn my dad was expecting. But, we still had fun nonetheless!

This just means that we’ll have to work hard again to be able to experience the autumn my dad has in mind! (ps. it was the color of the leaves lol they weren’t enough)

Day 1

• Fly to Seoul
• Arrive in Seoul
• Cab to The Recenz Dongdaemeun : Seoul: Where to stay (The Recenz Dongdaemun Hotel)
• Check-in
• Sleep (lol)
• Lunch at Haemok Nonhyeon Branch : Haemok Nonhyeon (해목 논현점) (How to go, what to expect) – NCT Jungwoo ate here!

• Lowide Coffee
• Walk to Seongsu (recommended if weather is good)

• Dinner at Gourmet Jung 고메 정식당 : Gourmet Jung (고메 정식당) (How to go, what to expect)

it was still so so good! my parents loved it

the clams were so good, it was not as huge as the ones from Busan but they were very juicy!

Day 2

• Hongdae (arrived at 6 PM)
• Dinner at 노루목황소곱창 2호점 : 노루목황소곱창 2호점 – Gopchang restaurant in Hongdae! (How to go, what to expect)
• Walk more around Hongdae

Day 3

• Lunch at Bricklane Burger Sinsa Branch 브릭레인버거 신사 : Bricklane Burger (브릭레인버거) (How to go, what to expect) – NCT Johnny got delivery from here!
• Gentle Monster (in Dosan)
• London Bagel Museum : London Bagel Museum Dosan branch – 김동 이동의 먹2U also went here! (How to go, what to expect)
• Seoul Wave Art Center : Seoul Wave Art Center (서울웨이브 아트 센터) (How to go, what to expect) – NCT DoJaeJung DJJ album launch location
• ** tried to look for a dinner place but didn’t know they were under renovation lol**
• Dinner at 마포갈매기 : Seoul: Where to stay (The Recenz Dongdaemun Hotel)

I had the perfect spot to take photos so I took advantage of the natural sunlight

Day 4

• Myeongdong : Myeongdong (How to go, What to shop, and Where to eat: Street food, James Cheese Back Ribs, Yoogane, Sulbing, BBQ Chicken )
• Dinner at 조개와 – didn’t write about this because I do not recommend, we all got upset stomachs the following day
• Did errands and shop more at Myeongdong

Day 5

• 북한산 area
