Osaka Baifu Shinsaibashi or Osaka Bakufu Shinsaibashi – Our favorite hidden ramen place we discovered years ago! (How to go, what to expect, and what to order!)
Years ago, when we first went to Osaka, we discovered this small ramen place while we were walking.
It was so random that we didn’t know how we discovered the place or how we could go back.
Well with some digging with some help from the location of photos from my iPhone and Google Maps, I was able to find the place!
How to go to :
1. Get down at Nagahoribashi Station
option lines –
2. Get out at exit 7
view as you get out of exit 7, face left andDO NOT CROSS THE PEDESTRIANbut walk towards the alley on your leftjust keep walking straight on the alleyYOU’RE NEAR!! you’ll see a family mart on your rightMADE IT
What to expect, and what to order:

They’re open from 11:30 AM till 6:00 AM the next morning (BEST RAMEN PLACE EVER)
There were a few minutes where everyone left so I was able to take this photo. The place can only accommodate 12-13 peoplethey only accept cash (unless you have wechat pay or alipay)
THANK GOODNESS FOR ENGLISH MENU HHAHA we used to struggle with their Japanese menuevery time we’re here, there’s always a cute chef!! I got caught staring, 7 years ago HAHAHAHone of my faves from their restaurant is their gyozamy dad and I both got their No 1 Strong Pork Soup NoodleYUMbefore heading home, I asked my dad to take my photo since it was hard to take a photo inside
all photos taken using an iPhone / Fujifilm X-T20 18-55 mm
This ramen place is actually the first one on my “favorite ramen place” list. As of date, no ramen place has topped their ramen. 😍💖
I hope you guys could come and eat here as well when you come over to Osaka!
