I’ve been wanting to go to Vietnam for the longest time, especially because so many people have told me that the clothes there fit petite girls really well. I usually have such a hard time finding clothes that fit me properly, so of course, the thought of being able to shop without having to worry about sizing was already enough to make me excited about going 😂
This year, one of my best friends finally found the time to take me around Vietnam, so we decided to make it happen!
And honestly, I’ve been looking forward to this trip for so long.
I was able to find a hotel right in the heart of District 1. It wasn’t expensive at all, and the staff were so kind and welcoming!

We arrived past midnight, so it was already dark. There are quite a few stairs before you get to the hotel, but the staff were very helpful and assisted us with our luggage!
Yes, the staff will still help you even if you arrive after midnight.
The lobby isn’t very big, so you’ll be able to spot the concierge right away.
Our room was on the 7th floor, and we booked a Deluxe Double Room.
At first, we thought there was no hot water in the shower, so I had to take a bath with cold water. My friend can’t shower with cold water, so I called the concierge to ask about it.
They came up to our room and showed us how to get the hot water working.
It was decent, but I’d choose a bigger room next time so we’d have a table to work at. I really liked how conveniently located the hotel was!
My friend is used to staying at nicer hotels, though, so this one wasn’t really her cup of tea.
The closest convenience store is FamilyMart, just a few steps away.
