One of our must-eats in the itinerary was Peking duck, but we had trouble squeezing in restaurant visits due to the locations. I decided to head here for our last day lunch since we were planning to see the North Bund area.
We had lunch at Peking Chamber or most commonly known as Siji Minfu – Bund Waibaidu Bridge Store 四季民福烤鸭店(外滩外白渡桥店). This isn’t just one branch, by the way. There are five branches across Shanghai.

I’ve been seeing that there are always a lot of people here, but we were able to get a table immediately when we arrived. Maybe it was because we went during lunchtime? We took a Didi to get here to save time.
We got confused about where to go, but the guard at the entrance was kind enough to show us the way.
I was so excited as we were being led to our table.
They gave us a menu and took our orders here, with no need to scan QR codes!
There were so many options on their menu, so I’m posting here the ones we got.
Oh, we also ordered some vegetables, their number 2 top-selling item, but I forgot to take a photo of the menu, sorry!
This was our bill, which they gave us after we ordered.
They served the Peking duck condiments and showed us the Peking duck first, and the other dishes followed afterwards. We didn’t have to wait long.

We were so happy because we had such a good meal. We didn’t ask the chef to cook the remaining Peking duck and decided to bring it home instead. I told my mom before the trip to bring Tupperware just in case we needed to pack some food, and we did!
We were able to enjoy the Peking duck for even longer 🩷 Definitely add this to your list if you’ll be going around the North Bund area as well.
