Huaihai Middle Road 淮海中路 , Wu Kang Road 武康路 , Anfu Road 安福路 (What to expect)

I didn’t know what to expect from Shanghai’s shopping districts since it’s been a while since I last visited, but these three are the ones I’ve been seeing all over social media.

Huaihai Middle Road 淮海中路 – you can find Songmont, Gentle Monster, Haus Dosan here as well as APM mall (and other malls and standalone stores)

Wu Kang Road 武康路 Anfu Road 安福路 – full of trendy standalone stores and the famous perfume store To Summer (near Wukang Road)

We started from Huahai Middle Road to check Songmont since it was near where we had lunch, and my mom wanted to check the bags. I wanted to check Haus Nowhere, but we were on a tight schedule.

wanted to go in but we didn’t have time, we were trying to see as much as we could that day 🥹

After Songmont, we took a Didi to To Summer and walked to Wukang Mansion. I didn’t like the perfumes at To Summer, but I loved their mood diffusers!

I asked my dad if he wanted to see Anfu Road, even if it was just a quick peek since we were already near the area and it would push our night plans a bit. He said yes, so we took a Didi to Anfu Road.

I think it’s nice to take your time going around these three places even if you don’t intend to shop. I just wish we had more time to look around, but that’s probably for next time!

I’m glad we got to see the new hot spots in Shanghai since no one was really talking about Wukang or Anfu before.
