Butty Sandwich House (버티샌드위치하우스) (How to go, what to expect)

My mom likes ciabatta bread, so when I saw a post about ciabatta sandwiches, I decided to add this place to our trip.

Again, the main goal of this trip was to try as many new restaurants as possible.

Butty Sandwich House is located between two subway stations, so you do need to walk a bit.

For us, coming from our hotel, there was a bus that took us closer to the restaurant.

We had to walk through many small streets, so it might get confusing if I explain them all here. I’ll just share what Butty Sandwich House looks like from the outside so you can easily find it.

The restaurant has a second floor, but the stairs were difficult to walk on, at least for me, so we decided to dine on the first floor.

The staff gave us a menu so we could choose what we wanted to eat. Ordering and payment are done through the counter.

My mom and I both got the crispy Philly cheese panini, and we shared a clam chowder. Of course, we also ordered coffee.

yummy!

The clam chowder was not the clam chowder I was dreaming of (I miss you Duke’s Chowder House), but it was still better than the ones I’ve had in Manila.

The sandwich was nothing extraordinary, but the way they mixed the ingredients was new to us, which made us enjoy the meal.

If you’re looking for something different to eat in Seoul, you can check this place out. But for sandwiches, I would recommend Friends & Yard instead.
