WES (웨스) (How to go, what to expect)

I came across an Instagram post about this cute cafe. I checked the location, and it was quite far! It was in the Gijang area, but I was able to visit since we already planned to have lunch at Gijang Crab Market.

We were supposed to commute here, but I wanted to come early and enjoy the time leading up to the sunset. We commuted back, though!

This is what it would have looked like if you took the bus to get here!

I missed a few parts since I was not able to take a photo of the road, but it was very narrow. I remember the cab having a hard time getting through.

The road leading up to the cafe looks like this, so do not be shocked!

Sharing some screenshots from Naver Maps!

Our view as soon as our cab dropped us off!

I am willing to come back just for this view. It was so peaceful since there were not many people.

There are three floors in total. I did not go up to the roofdeck anymore since I would have been alone, hahaha. I was scared I might get locked out.

view from the second floor was immaculate but all the tables with the sea view were already taken

I saw this as we were leaving. I think this is how you get to the roofdeck because there is a door on the 2nd floor.

We settled in this area instead!

I wanted to get some pastries, but we were too full from our lunch, so we just had coffee instead.

We took our time in this cafe, just sipping our coffee, watching the seagulls, and enjoying the view.

Can you imagine just taking a break here, writing in your notebook, or reading a book? I already miss this cafe as I am writing this post.

When it was getting close to sunset, we went out to the beach area and took some photos. I would come back here, or maybe try another cafe in the area, just to take a break if I get the chance.

all photos were taken using an iPhone 13 Pro Max / Fujifilm X-T20 18-55 mm

If you are heading to the Gijang area, go visit this cafe. It is definitely worth the trip 🩷.
