Busan: Where to stay (Marysol by Haeundae Beach) (마리쏠 바이 해운대 비치)

I have been trying to look for hotels in the area where we would usually stay, since the one I used to go to was demolished. I liked that area because it was quiet, and I loved having a peaceful walk to the beach.

But the hotels that were still there had become pricey for me, and I wanted to stay within my budget, so I had to look for other options.

That is how I found Marysol Hotel. I booked it without knowing the T1 base camp was there, or maybe it wasn’t there yet.

Marysol Hotel is located at Haeundae Square where all the shops and restaurants are. It is a busy street. When I booked the hotel, I did not like the idea because I thought it would be noisy, but during the trip I learned to love it, and I was really glad I chose this place.

How to go to Marysol Hotel from Gimhae International Airport : you can either take a cab or the bus to the hotel. You can pay using your credit card just in case you don’t have cash with you.

Via cab – there are a lot of cabs waiting outside of the airport or you can also use Uber for your ride

Via bus – you can buy a physical ticket from the booth

you’ll be lining up at this no 3 bus stop
time table here is accurate! you’ll get down at Haeundae Hot Spring Saegori

It’s the same process as what we did before in 2022 so I’m putting the same photos and instructions here!

this is how the ticketing booth looks like! you can find it after gate 4
you’ll be buying and paying through this kiosk

there were some buses that stopped but you should ONLY get on the one that has Haeundae written on it

Naver Maps said you should get off at Haeundae Oncheon Intersection, but you won’t see that name at the bus stop. It’s actually listed as Haeundae Hot Spring Saegori on the sign

Just make sure to get down on the next stop after the “Haeundae Beach Entrance”

Riding the bus is probably my favorite way to get to the hotel when I come from the airport. I love how comfortable the seats are.

The bus stop name of where we got down is actually Haeundae Spa Sageori if this helps!

This is how you’ll get to Marysol Hotel after getting down.

view as soon as you get down
you’ll face to your left and you should see the Rolls Royce and Mini Cooper area on your right
you’ll cross the street heading to that area
and walk to the street on your left
you’ll notice Hotel Elysia and a Starbucks sign on the floor below, it means you’re near!
just follow the road
as it will lead you to Haeundae Square
building is not hard to find as there is a huge T1 BASE CAMP sign, you should see it on your right
you made it!
there are signs so it shouldn’t be hard for you as you arrive
lobby is located on the 3rd floor

follow the signs that says Marysol Hotel as the building is divided into 2 hotels

There will be someone to greet you even if you arrive late!

there are a lot of instructions in English
as well as guides for you to get to your room

make sure to only ride the elevators with “room only” or else you won’t be able to go to your room!

If you’ll be getting breakfast, the area will be at T1 Pub! It’s located at the 2nd floor.

Our room was on the 25th floor, and I got the Standard Double Ocean View.

I loved how the room was spacious! We had plenty of space to open 2 luggages

Ocean view during the day! There were mornings where we would catch the sunrise here.

The subway was also close to the hotel! Both bus stops and subway stations are nearby, which we really enjoyed since we used to only take buses a few years ago.

How to go to the closest exit of Haeundae station :

view as soon as you get out of the hotel
turn right
and just keep on walking straight
you’ll eventually end up at exit 3!

This is what Exit 3 looks like if you’re heading home! You’ll face a lot of stairs, so be prepared. Some days it’s tiring for my mom, but I like how it forces you to get some exercise. I’d definitely hate walking up those stairs if it were hot, though!
