Getting our makeup, hair, and photos taken by Seohwa 서화 (@seohwafilm) (What to expect)

I have been wanting to do this for a while. By for a while, I mean years already 🤣. I never paid someone to do my hair and makeup and have this studio set up so I told myself this 2025 I will finally do it 🥹.

It was supposed to be a solo shot but somewhere along the years I suddenly wanted my mom and I to do this together. It’s been years since she also had someone do her hair and makeup.

After going through multiple Tiktok (lol) and Instagram reels, I decided to go with Seohwa 서화 – https://www.instagram.com/seohwafilm/. Admittedly, I had a hard time trying to gauge how long it might take for makeup studios to fix 2 girls since most of what I see is just one girl having her hair, makeup, and photo taken.

Seohwa 서화 is one of those who offer hair, makeup, and photo packages and since it was my first time and I was taking my mom with me, I opted for this. I think it would be cheaper to have the makeup hair and photography studio separately but I didn’t have any regrets about getting Seohwa 서화 for our first time.

For the both of us, the total is 884,000 won. Raw photos will be sent and there will be 3 photos she will edit (she made it 4 when she sent the raw photos 🥹)

She sent me a message a month before for a time change, and a week before for a change in location since the studio she initially sent was being renovated. I appreciated it so much since I was able to plan.

I had a hard time trying to figure out where the new studio was because it was at the back of a building haha always a first for everything!

I had this dream when I was a kid that I’d be in the entertainment industry one day but I don’t think I can actually handle the pressure

The first layout that we did was our mom and daughter photos. I thought we would have at least 2 change of clothes but I guess we were lost in translation but I didn’t mind. The outfits for our solo shots still looked good together.

After we did our mom and daughter photos it was my solo then my mom’s solo shots. I told the photographer it was our first time at a studio so we didn’t know what to do but she helped us with our poses and also showed us what to do and it turned out so well!
