I finally went back to Seoul 🥹😩 . I usually book my stays at Dongdaemun Golden City Hotel but for some reason, the prices for the dates, or any random dates, for that matter, have been so crazy!
I wanted to stay somewhere in that area since I’m already used to the place and I have a specific budget for hotels or accommodation.
After trying to look for hotels, I stumbled upon The Recenz Dongdaemun Hotel and it was just a building away from Dongdaemun Golden City Hotel!!
I’ll be re-using old photos since it’s the same information as my previous post! We still rode the train from the airport to the hotel.

don’t worry! there’s an elevator for your luggage
but the elevator is from exit 2 so this will be your view if you ride the elevatorall you have to do is turn left coming out and cross the street!it will immediately take you to exit 1

The rom was not bad! I just miss the room size at Dongdaemun Golden City Hotel 🤣

just less than 15 min walk from the hotel!as soon as you come out , you will be walking towards your right (caffe bene side)and you’ll cross the first pedestrian towards your leftas soon as you cross, you will immediately cross the pedestrian on your right
and you’ll just keep on walking straight from this point!you’ll see Paris Baguette on the corner 🥹hehe fave bakeshop for my fave bread!anyway you’ll immediately turn left after you pass by Paris Baguetteand you’ll just keep on walking straightjust keep walking straight untilyou’ll see Mega Coffeeit’s just beside it!

We were supposed to have dinner at 신마포갈매기 after Everland but unfortunately, the restaurant was already closed for the night 😩. We decided to walk around the area to look for a restaurant and we’re glad 신마포갈매기 was closed because we discovered a good Samgyeopsal restaurant near 신마포갈매기!

B. BBQ Olive Chicken
we wanted something light before our early morning flight back home so we decided to just get chicken instead, I went to google to check if there was a branch near usand THERE WAS A BRANCH NEAR US plus it was just 3 minutes away from the hotel!coming out from the hotel, you’ll turn left (CU side) and you’ll keep on walking straightuntil you pass by the first street where you can walk leftyou’ll turn left hereit’s a bit creepy because you’d think “the restaurant is here????” but you just gotta trust Naver Mapsonce you reach the end of the road, you’ll turn rightyes the restaurant is just here hahahayou’ll see the sign on your right!you made it!
didn’t notice the cafe word when we arrived, I only noticed when I was looking at the photos back home lolthey said they weren’t open and that we can only do take-outs, which works fine for us!got the chicken!and we ate inside the hotel room☺️
C. Paris Baguette / 항방 양육관 (Lamb skewer restaurant) at Food Culture Street
My dad loves finding new places and wakes up earlier than everyone else to walk around the area. I’m so thankful that my dad loves to explore! I can’t wait to come back and explore the streets full of restaurants!
there were soooo many restaurants in the area! easiest way to find the place is that it’s near exit 3
the closest Paris Baguette to the hotel! they close at 10:30 PM

The walk is a bit far compared to other lodging options (you can feel the distance when it’s hot but the walk is fun when it’s cold) but I feel comfortable and familiar with this area. The prices are not that high for hotels (in my opinion!).
