Seoyeonok (소연옥) – near Seomyeon area (How to go, What to expect)

My original plan was to go to their branch near Gwangalli Beach but when I entered the place on the day on Naver maps it pointed me to a different branch. My fault for not checking the address too!

Seoyeonok (소연옥)  specializes in Salmon Sashimi and Gyukatsu. I honestly forgot how I came across this restaurant but it has been on my list since 2022!

They have three branches and I went to the farthest one hahahaha 🥲. I only knew about this when I already got home and I was making this blog post! There is one in Seomyeon area, Gwangalli area, and Haeundae area!

Since we went to the farthest one, I’ll be writing about how you can go to the Seomyeon branch!

I checked and riding the train is the fastest way!
the station is a bit far as compared to the bus stops

How to go to Seoyeonok (소연옥) , Seomyeon branch –

the station is at the other side of the road so you as soon as you head out, you will turn to your right
and you’ll follow that until
you reach the roundabout
and you will be heading towards the left road
you’ll be walking straight until
you see the GS25
you’ll head towards the right after passing by GS25
walk on the left side of the road and walk straight
until you see the end of the road
you’ll see a pedestrian on your left side
you’ll be crossing the street so head over to that pedestrian and
cross the street
once you reach the end, you will be
facing the left and
keep on walking straight at this point
walk is a bit far so don’t be worried!
you’ll see the entrance to the subway on the left side
enter here!

You’ll be riding toward Seomyeon area so follow the signs that will lead you to Seomyeon (2).

We were told to get out via exit 6 but the stairs were too steep so we decided to leave via exit 8🤣.

exit 8!

As soon as you get out of exit 8 :

view as you get out of exit 8!
just keep walking straight and
follow the sidewalk
just keep walking straight until
you see the first street on your right
you’ll be heading towards that street
and you’ll be walking straight until
you see a road on your right
you’ll just keep on walking straight
it’s just a short walk
until you see the store!!
SO EXCITED!

We did not have to wait long since we were kind of early!

The food WAS SOOOOO GOOD!! I need to come back here the next time I can visit Busan!!

I’m not sure if you can keep on ordering the rice, udon, and salad but when I went there they let us get refills and said another bowl of rice is on the house (or “service” as per their term).

I’m so happy that I pushed with making sure I come to visit this place since it has been on my list since my 2022 trip! 10/10 would recommend!!
