Shinsekai (How to go and what to expect)

One of the usual places I’ve seen people visit when they’re in Osaka is Shinsekai, so I placed it on our itinerary so that we can go take a look during the trip.

How to go:

1. Get down at Ebisucho station

climb those stairs

view as you get out of exit 3. From here you can already see the Tsutenkaku Tower. Walk towards the tower and when you reach the bottom of the tower, face right

and walk straight, this will lead you to Shinsekai

the Tsutenkaku Tower and the pufferfish are the ones that will tell you that you’re in Shinsekai

What to expect:

Before we went around, we decided to look for the angle that had the pufferfish and the Tsutenkaku Tower both in the background.

I saw the pufferfish from afar so I just followed the road leading towards it

you’ll notice a crowd taking photo so that’s when I turned and saw this view

I finally saw what people posted on their Instagram stories hahaahahaha

Found out over Facebook that they took down the pufferfish lantern😭

I would recommend that you visit Shinsekai during night time so that all the lights will be lit up.

There are a lot of vintage arcades and restaurants all over Shinsekai.

It was our last night, and I still wasn’t able to get any Lawson corndog so when I saw one there, I bought one! I love Lawson’s corndog!!
