One of the usual places I’ve seen people visit when they’re in Osaka is Shinsekai, so I placed it on our itinerary so that we can go take a look during the trip.
*2023 update : I was able to do the Tower Slider inside the Tsutenkaku Tower! I’m writing about it below!
How to go:
1. Get down at Ebisucho station
option lines –

2. Get out at exit 3

What to expect:
Before we went around, we decided to look for the angle that had the pufferfish and the Tsutenkaku Tower both in the background.

* September 3, 2020 update *
Found out over Facebook that they took down the pufferfish lantern😭

I would recommend that you visit Shinsekai during nighttime so that all the lights will be lit up.
There are a lot of vintage arcades and restaurants all over Shinsekai.

It was our last night, and I still wasn’t able to get any Lawson corndog so when I saw one there, I bought one! I love Lawson’s corndog!!

Bye, Shinsekai!

Riding the Tower Slider inside Tsutenkaku Tower!
As mentioned above, you’ll actually pass by Tsutenkaku Tower before reach Shinsekai. The Tower Slider in Tsutenkaku Tower is actually something new, they only opened it summer of 2022! I only knew about this since my friend was able to go here.
There are two things you can do in Tsutenkaku Tower – Tower Slider and Observation Deck.

My cousin and I were going to do Tower Slider so went towards the left entrance! You’ll have to sign a waiver and take it with you!

Once you’re inside, you just need to follow the signs with the words “Tower Slider”!

Once you get down the slider, you’ll get to see from the screen the video they took of you before and after you slide down! It’s already included when you pay for the ticket.
