Exploring East Nanjing Road (How to go and what to expect)

East Nanjing Road is one of the famous landmarks for tourists when they visit Shanghai. I’ve been here many times but I always fail to take proper photos to document them well.

I’ve noticed that not a lot of people know that East Nanjing Road is. If you look at the subway map, the whole East Nanjing Road is the gap between People’s Square station and East Nanjing Rd. station.

How to go to East Nanjing Road:
(since East Nanjing Road is long, you have 2 options to go to depending on which area you want to see)

If you want to go to M&M world area:
1. Get down at People’s Square station (line 1/2/8)
2. Get out of exit 5

We decided to have dinner at this mall, which is connected to the M&M world and Sephora.

(note: this is far from East Nanjing Road station, you have to get down from People’s Square, scroll up again to see what station you should be getting down)

bec it has been soooo long since I was able to eat this! It’s so hard to find rainbow flavor in the Philippines

After having our dinner and some Dippin’ Dots, we decided to walk the whole East Nanjing Road station to enjoy the weather.

ps. we were very very tired when we reached the end.

I noticed that the Innisfree branch had the Green Cafe so I suggested that we take a break first before heading back to our place.

(note: Innisfree and Innisfree Green Cafe is near East Nanjing Road station, and far from M&M’s world , scroll up again to see what station you should be getting down)

Remember to decide first which part of East Nanjing Road you want to explore so you won’t make a mistake in getting down on the wrong station.
