Quick trip to Seoul for my friend’s 30th birthday! We visited some new places, so I’m writing about them. She chose this restaurant for her birthday dinner.
Merry Garden Rooftop Restaurant & Lounge Bar is located in the Gangnam area, inside Hotel The Designers LYJ Gangnam Premiere.
How to go here :
1. Get down at Sinnonhyeon Station (line 9)
2. Get out of exit 3
The restaurant is on the 13th floor, and you do not need a hotel keycard to go up.
The ambiance was giving, but it was quite dark to take photos of the food, so please bear with the lighting since I do not post edited photos here.
Menu ~
We ordered french fries, Shrimp Bisque Oil Pasta, Mala Rose Pasta, and Lobster Rose Pasta. Everything tasted so good! The seafood was so fresh.
I think out of all the lobster pastas I have tried so far, this place would rank second!

If you are around the area, it is a good place to dine, but I am not sure if it is worth making a special trip for unless you are craving lobster pasta.
