I want to take my mom to a rooftop dinner place. Good food and a good view, since Bangkok is famous for rooftop restaurants and bars. I saw this place and thought, yeah, let’s go try it.
There is no subway near Sol & Luna but it’s a bit near Hereduan and Mae Varee.
Sol & Luna is located inside the Somerset Sukhumvit 71 Bangkok hotel.
Sol is the restaurant, while Luna is the open‑air rooftop bar and restaurant.
We got the soft shell crab spaghetti and grilled half chicken to share! We’ve been having a lot of seafood dishes recently, so I was looking for some meat.

The food was okay. It was edible, but not mind‑blowing enough for me to go out of my way just to eat here. It was more about the vibe, though the chicken was good!
We took a peek at Luna and snapped a few photos before leaving the place.
