Torikizuku (토리키조쿠) (How to go, what to expect)

After leaving Busanjip Hongdae (철길부산집 홍대직영점), I asked my mom if she still wanted to have more beer, since I knew Torikizuku had finally opened in Korea.

I saw a tweet saying Torikizuku was opening in Korea, and I remembered it because my friend took me there when we were in Osaka.

There are 3 branches of Torikizuku already in Seoul. Since one of the branches is near Busanjip, we just walked toward Torikizuku.

It was easy to spot them because their logo is red font on a yellow background.

I just followed the side of the building and saw stairs leading up to the second floor.

operating hours

The place wasn’t full when we arrived, but it wasn’t empty either. We got there almost an hour before closing, which they mentioned.

We told them it was fine, since we were only planning to eat a little because we were still full from dinner.

Ordering is done through a tablet, so there’s no need to worry about the language since there’s an English option available.

This is the full menu!

where you’ll place the sticks after you eat

we also ordered fries, we were looking for some carbs

We were among the last few to leave, so I was able to take a photo of what the place looked like.

Payment is done at the counter beside the entrance door.

all photos were taken using an iPhone 13 Pro Max

Even though this place is a Japanese chain, it’s definitely a good option if you want to drink and enjoy small bites while you’re in the Hongdae area.
