I booked this trip because I wanted to eat strawberries while they were still in season. I also discovered that it was peak season for hamachi (Japanese amberjack, or yellowtail), which is my mom’s favorite sashimi.
One of my goals for this trip was to try as many different restaurants, cafes, and experiences as possible. I only returned to a few favorites at my mom’s request.
I’m so happy I was able to try so many new places, though there is still so much left on my list! So many restaurants and cafes to try, and never enough time.
