Darling Kitchen (달링키친) (How to go, what to expect)

This wasn’t part of the plan. I was supposed to have lunch at another restaurant, but I didn’t notice that they were closed for the day, and I was really looking forward to eating there.

So, I had to find another restaurant near the area we were heading to afterward.

There are bus stops nearby, and Darling Kitchen is close by as well. The closest subway station is Apgujeong Station, Exit 4.

We woke up a bit late that day, and I was already feeling hungry, so we took a cab to make sure we arrived at least 20 minutes earlier.

When our cab dropped us off, I was still a bit confused about where Darling Kitchen was, so I’m showing you what it looks like from the outside haha!

how the building looks like
but there are signs everywhere so you just need to follow them

so much awards

I was a bit shocked by how many people were dining there, even though it was a weekday. They gave us the menu and a paper to tick what we want to order.

Sharing with you some photos of how the place looks like.

self-service area
I think it’s nice to eat in this area during spring or autumn

I originally wanted to order the carbonara as a carbonara girly, but I decided to choose a sauce I couldn’t eat outside Seoul: rose.

My mom chose anchovy oil pasta because she loves anchovies.

I LOVE how the grilled shrimp, it tasted perfect with the rose pasta
mom was a bit disappointed though, she said she was not able to taste the anchovy

Despite being far from the nearest commute stops, it was one of the best pastas I’ve had in Seoul. To be fair, the pastas I’ve had here have almost never been a miss.
