Thrill on the Mug (스릴온더머그) (How to go, what to expect)

The name truly lived up to itself, as this was the cafe that gave me the most thrill.

I didn’t manage to take a screenshot of the commute, since I decided to hail a cab. But after the bus stop, it would’ve been about a 23-minute walk to the cafe.

We arrived just in time to catch a glimpse, just a glimpse, of the sunset.

I thought we were required to buy a drink first before entering the cafe to take photos and videos, but thankfully, it wasn’t required (or at least I hoped it wasn’t).

We didn’t order drinks since we just wanted to enjoy the view. Sorry, we won’t do that again in the future!

drinks menu if anyone is curious!

This was the reason I wanted to catch the sunset here. It was so stunning! I wish we had left Miffy Cafe earlier so we could have enjoyed our coffee and relaxed while waiting for the sunset.

We were only able to take a few pictures outside before the sunset started turning orange.

I decided to use my phone to take a few more pictures since my camera wasn’t capturing the photos very well. It was already acting up at this point.

We checked out the cafe before leaving.

they were also serving some pastries!

We decided to walk back the 23 minutes to catch the bus, thinking it would save us some money (since we took a cab to get there). In hindsight, it probably would’ve been better to just hail a cab.

The road that Naver Maps directed us to was dark and a bit creepy, and we were the only ones walking down it. It felt like something straight out of a horror movie or show.

This is why it felt like a thrill for me, from trying to catch the time and telling the cab driver to step on it, to walking down a dark and scary road just to get home all because I wanted to see a cafe in the middle of a highway.

Photo for your reference 🤣.

all photos were taken using an iPhone 13 Pro Max / Fujifilm X-T20 18-55 mm

The cafe offered stunning views, I’m not going to lie, but it’s best to plan your trip here and take a cab. I wouldn’t recommend commuting, though. My mom was really scared when we were heading towards the bus stop.

Watch my Busan travel film here!
