MeiTaWang Egg Tart (메이타왕 에그타르트) – salted egg tart (How to go, what to expect)

I saw the latest snack trend in Seongsu and convinced my parents to go try it with me! I checked Naver Maps and it was beside 한정선 (Hanjungsun 韓貞仙)!

Coming from Paper Plate, we just walked to MeiTaWang Egg Tart.

If you’re coming straight here, the closest subway station is Seongsu and take exit 4.

Seongsu station is on line 2

The storefront looks like this!

한정선 on one side and beside it is MeiTaWang Egg Tart

The egg tarts were huge so we just got one to share.

all photos were taken using an iPhone 13 Pro Max / Fujifilm X-T20 18-55 mm

I loved that the filling wasn’t too sweet—it had a bit of saltiness, but, it IS called a salted egg tart for a reason, hahaha! I liked getting to try something different, though I don’t think I’d come back unless I’m specifically craving something salty with a bit of creaminess.

Watch my Jeju travel film here!
