9.81 Park (9.81 파크 제주) – DEX went here! (What to expect)

I already knew about this place before my friend told me to visit it during our trip!

9.81 Park – 9.81 파크 제주

I got confused when I followed Naver Maps towards here so be on alert!

once you’re near the area, you’ll be able to spot the signs
follow the arrow!

The place has plenty of parking and it’s huge. Mom decided to skip this one and took a nap in the car.

I bought the tickets on-site since I wasn’t sure whether my mom would join us or not, but you can get them on Klook too for a much cheaper price.

this is where I bought our tickets! I believe this is also where you pick up your wristbands if you bought them from Klook
one for me, one for dad!

The race track is on a lower level, so you’ll go down to get there!

you need to leave your bag and/or camera inside the lockers, they’re free!

Once we left our items, we went to the entrance for the tracks!

we were asked by the staff to download the app

you are required to watch the safety video!
after watching there should be a green check on the safety video on the upper right

There’s a chip on this part of the ticket, and you’ll use it to track all your progress inside the park.

The experience towards the track felt like we were in Tron.

this lights up when you scan your bracelet! it turns red if you don’t scan it properly

you need to scan your ticket for your car to start!
there’s a part of the course where the drive becomes automated, so you can enjoy the view and take photos

So, we kept riding until we finished racing three times. I took this time to get proper selfies and videos!

hehe hi dad

Here’s how to download and save the videos.

After each race, you’ll get a highlight video and a full video of your run. You should have a total of six videos!

Sharing some screenshots!

There’s no gas pedal for the carts! They use elevated roads to help the carts gain speed. It was something new for my dad and me, and we had so much fun!

Our ticket also includes Laser Tag, but there were too many people, so my dad and I agreed to skip it.

We just walked around to check out the place before heading back to the car to meet mom!

all photos were taken using an iPhone 13 Pro Max / Fujifilm X-T20 18-55 mm

Overall, it was such a fun activity that I’d recommend everyone visit at least once. Riding a go-kart powered by gravity was something totally new!

DEX went here for his channel – DEX 101! You can watch the vlog here.
