Sinleedoga (신이도가) – cute cafe in Hongdae (How to go, what to expect)

After we had lunch at Friends & Yard, we went around and shopped at Seongsu, and we played with the snow since it suddenly snowed that day 🥹.

It was time to have more coffee so we headed to Hongdae since there was a cute cafe there!

How to go to Sinleedoga

1. Get down at Hapjeong Station (line 2, line 6)

2. Get out at exit 3

view as you get out of exit 3
just walk straight
keep on walking until you see a tall building and a bmw building
there’s a street in between the tall building and bmw and you’ll head towards there
keep on walking straight
until you reach the end of the road, you’ll be crossing and heading towards the right
there’s a pedestrian across GS25
please cross the road carefully~
once you cross, you’ll immediately turn right
and walk straight
until you see a street before the Dr Martens building , you’ll turn left towards the street (on your left)
and keep on walking straight

as you reach this crossroad , you will head towards the right
and walk straight until you reach the first street on your right , you will turn right here
you should not go beyond the blue elephant building
you’ll be able to spot Sinleedoga as soon as you head towards the right

I honestly love the place!! I love how the cafe has this traditional vibe in a very modern city

 

You order through a machine on the counter! We initially got an iced americano and a hot americano but we added a Croque-Monsieur (forgot to take a photo). Spent some time here since we really liked the vibe.

You won’t be given a buzzer thing so just be alert if your order is already ready at the counter.

We also took some photos while the sun was still there and there weren’t a lot of people that time 🥹.
