I’ve been meaning to come here after I saw tweets that NCT 127 ate here after Unity last 2024 but there were just too many restaurants I also wanted to try 🫣.

How to go to Seongsu Ilmirak

1. Get down at Ttukseom (line 2)

2. Get out at exit 4

as soon as you get out, you’ll turn to the street on your back
you’ll see a small grocery on your front as you turn
you’ll head towards the street on the back
and you’ll immediately turn right on the first street you’ll see
keep on walking straight
until you see the first street on your right, you’ll head towards that street

and you’ll keep walking straight
you’ll see a road on your left
hard to miss the brick wall
and you’ll turn left here
keep on walking straight
until you see the store front!

You made it!

there weren’t a lot of people when we went on Sunday evening

banchan was served while we were putting our things down!

Their menu (part of because I didn’t take photos of everything 🥹)

we got an order of the first 2 on the menu since it says it has their signature patent for marinating

my bad I was not able to take note of what these were but my mom said it paired well with the meat
it was of THE BEST I ever had during the times I was in Seoul 😭👍🏻
the first one on their menu was chef’s kiss, insane insane insane

The meat was so so so good that my mom asked me if we could come back before we fly out.

There were a lot of people the second time so we had to wait a bit.

thought I would have a hard time but the manager was nice enough to do the listing for us manually!
we went up the 2nd floor to wait

we just got the first one on the menu the fermented galbi

placed was crazy packed

they put the patent certificate on display near the counter

I would recommend this restaurant to anyone even if you’re not a fan of NCT. The meat was so good.
