Dosan Ddukbaeki (도산뚝배기) (How to go, what to expect) - SVT ate here

I had a lot of restaurants listed for lunch, it was between gyukatsu, beef, a brunch place that serves good avocado, or an Italian restaurant. I let my mom decided and she chose the beef restaurant since we just had avocado toast and lasagna the other day so she didn’t want to have them for this day.

I initially didn’t know about this place, I just saw an Instagram reel and I noticed that I was drooling so I already listed it down.

How to go to Dosan Ddukbaeki

1. Get down at Gangnam-gu Office Station (line 2, Bundang line)

2. Get out of exit 3-1

and you will keep on walking straight from this point

would not advice taking the train though if the weather is a bit hot since it’s a long walk

you’ll stop if you see Coffee Bean on your left!

from here you’ll enter the street on your left

You’ll be able to see it immediately on your right

there’s usually a long line but we were just lucky that there was an available table for us

As soon as you enter, you’ll be greeted by the autographs of famous celebrities. Even Rain dinned here!

There’s a tablet on each table and you’ll order from there. There’s no English option on the tablet, take note!

Our table was filled with banchan and they already placed the coal while we waited for the meat.

I think this restaurant is worth the splurge. Our bill was just 28,000 won more expensive than Doma. I do not recommend going to Doma, just go here instead 😭.

After we got out of the restaurant, I noticed that it was just a building away from where I took my parents to have unagi!
