Dosan butcher (도산정육 본점) (How to go, what to expect) - NCT Johnny, Doyoung, Jungwoo, Haechan, RIIZE Sungchan ate here!

In early 2024, someone noticed that RIIZE Sungchan and NCT Jungwoo left their signatures at Dosan Butcher while NCT Johnny and Doyoung went on the later part of 2024. I had to add it to my list 😆.

Coming from Standard Bread, we just walked towards Dosan Butcher.

If you’ll be using the subway to head to Dosan Butcher, the closest station is Apgujeongrodeo Station (Bundang line) and get out at exit 5

It was just a straight walk from Standard Bread so it wasn’t that hard to find the place.

The restaurant looks like this from the outside –

We had to to Catch Table as soon as we entered but we didn’t wait long. It was just there was no available table for seating since they were still being cleaned and fixed by the staff.

The place wasn’t that big too so I think we were just lucky that we didn’t have to wait long.

While waiting to get seated, I was trying to look for Johnny’s signature already since the wall was FULL of signatures! Fortunately, I was able to find it and I was hoping we get seated where it was 😭.

Like I had a hard time looking for Jungwoo and Sungchan’s signature

I was able to spot U-Know Yunho’s signature though

Going back to the food, there’s a tablet on each table for you to order. There’s an English option on the tablet!

PLEASE DO NOT COPY ME WITH THE SOY-BUTTER RICE 😭 that was the only option I saw for rice so I got one each for us BUT WHEN IT ARRIVED IT WAS GOOD FOR 2 😭 they were just nice enough to help us cancel the order when we saw the rice

Banchan is already on your table so you can snack on them while waiting for your order to arrive.

The meat finally arrived and it looked like this! I was just I guess a bit shocked that the upper part was stamped. Is this normal or maybe it’s their thing? 😆 It’s not so obvious on this photo but if you’re able to spot the violet part of the meat, that’s the stamp.

The staff will be the one who will cook the meat for you as well as advise what pairings would taste well with the meat.

I decided to get another order of the Jeju 5-Layer Pork Belly after we cancelled the soy-butter rice because I felt bad.

So the question my friends asked me is if Dosan Butcher is worth going to. Well, if you want to eat where your faves ate then I think yes but personally for pork, I think Golden Pig and 행복추풍령 칼삼겹살 would still be my top choices but that’s just my personal opinion!
