Conte De Tulear (꽁티드툴레아) (How to go, what to expect)

I came across a video that said this was one of the places locals frequent and that it has good avocado toast. I love avocado toast and I really wanted to try a lot of different restaurants this trip so we decided to have late lunch here!

It was either this restaurant or a pork K-BBQ restaurant but since we had a heavy meal the night before we decided to have a lighter lunch option.

How to go do Conte De Tulear

1. Get down at Apgujeongrodeo Station (Bundang line)

2. Get out of exit 5

walk straight until you see Paris Baguette
there’s a street on your right before Paris Baguette and you’ll turn to that street
just keep walking straight
until you see this huge building, there’s a street on the left and you’ll turn towards that street

you’ll be able to spot the place on the right side of the road!

You made it!

I heard that the wait time is usually long but I guess we were lucky since we were able to get seated as soon as we arrived.

The menu was already on the table but I was asked to settle down, choose what I wanted, and head to the counter to order and pay.

My mom and I got the Avocado Toast, the Salmon and Dipping Plate, and coffee.

I love the Avocado Toast and noticed that they had a pesto spread before placing the avocado slices! something new, will definitely try doing that at home 😆 I’m not sure why but I think I prefer the one I had at Friends & Yard because of the chili oil that they added
now this was the one that was so good for me! the salmon with the bread and the spread all paired so well 😭

I noticed a lot of people ordered this one, I think they’re famous for it. It’s their chocolate mousse.

There are some dishes I am very curious about which I hope I could try when I have the chance to come back!
