I booked this trip last July because I wanted to experience attending birthday cafes in Seoul. Johnny’s birthday is usually near Chinese New Year or Lunar New Year, and during that time I have to be at home with my parents.
For 2025 though the Chinese or Lunar New Year was far from his birthday so I told myself that I had to push through with this year.
Before my trip, there were accounts already posting about his birthday cafe so I took notes and did my own thing of which ones to go first or which ones were near each other.
Nearing my trip, I saw someone share a link about birthday cafes being hosted for K-idols or famous people in South Korea.
I wasn’t able to take a screenshot of what it looks like but luckily I sent it to my friend! Visually it can help you plan on which ones to go or how you’ll schedule it. The first website is https://www.saengcaday.com/.

It’s not hard to navigate the page, you just need to select who artist, group, etc you want to check.

The second website you can check is https://www.offmate.kr.

I’ll be sharing photos from the birthday cafes I was able to go to! I was able to go to the ones hosted by @jxhnny_walker at 디엠 합정점 dm_hapjeong, @hbdjohnny_30th at 타만 디 우다라, and @apricity_J at 시즈니(SEASONY). The bonus was being able to spot the bus ad done by @Everglow_Johnny near Seoul Forest.
There are rules per cafe on how to get the gifts they prepare. The staff would usually explain it or give you options, don’t be shy to ask!

all photos were taken using an iPhone 13 Pro Max / Fujifilm X-T20 18-55 mm
I also shared what happened and how I felt on X or Twitter! If you guys are waiting for a sign to go experience a birthday cafe, this is the sign! Go enjoy your fangirl life and I hope those who want to experience this get to do this as well 💚.
