Gourmet Jung (고메 정식당) (How to go, what to expect)

Dry-aged pork and beef for grilling, wow sounds good right? Those were my initial thoughts as soon as I saw a post about this restaurant.

How to go to Gourmet Jung –

1. Get out at Seoul Nat’l Univ. of Education (line 2, line 3)

2. Get out of exit 2

follow the signs that will lead you to exit 1

it was a long walk up
view as soon as you get out!
you’ll immediately turn to the street on your right

and you’ll keep on walking straight until
you reach the first street you will see on your left
you’ll walk towards that street and you’ll be able to spot the restaurant immediately!

they asked us to do this but the staff was kind enough to take note manually 🥹

you can look at the menu while you wait!
free coffee but we skipped this since we already had our fills from our pre-dinner meal

they have lockers for your coats!

we had this view while eating 🤤
we got 2 orders of the galbi-sal and 15 days dry-aged pork samgyeopsal!

all photos were taken using an iPhone 13 Pro Max / Fujifilm X-T20 18-55 mm

The staff was the one who cooked,  cut, and served the meat for us! It was a full experience.

The food we had was so so good but it was a bit expensive. If you do want to splurge a bit for a good meal, I’d recommend this place! I still want to go back one day if I feel like I can spend more than usual!
