I was not the biggest fan of intestines until earlier this year when I tried fried intestines for the first time and loved it.
Not all restaurants in Seoul offer Gopchang or Daechang so you have to look for places that offer it. We were supposed to have dinner at The Hyundai Seoul but as soon as we were going to order the staff said “No more, sold out, close close”.
I told my brother let’s go to the gopchang restaurant for our last dinner instead. We rode the bus coming from the mall to the restaurant!
It was raining during that time so it was a bit hard for me to take photos and take notes but I’ll do my best to explain everything!
This is what it looks like if you will try and search for the restaurant on Naver. It’s open until 5 AM, we were happy about that since it was getting late 😆.

This is what our bus situation looked like and as soon as we went down the bus stop, we had to walk for a few minutes.

No train station is “closest” to the restaurant but looking at the map the best way to get here is to get down at Hongik Station and get out at exit 9.

The restaurant is close to 934 King’s Cross which I was able to visit before!

Following Naver Maps, you need to go to an alley. I wouldn’t consider it part of the main street and I feel like the restaurant is a bit if you know, you know kind of place for locals.

Open till 5 AM 🥰.

No foreigners were inside and the staff didn’t know how to speak English!

Menu (the only thing with English hahahaha) ~

We got the Grilled Beef Tripe (small intestine / gopchang), Korean Beef Tripe (big intestine / daechang), samgyeopsal (just because I didn’t want our dinner to be 100% just intestines), and Fried Rice.

The ahjumma that went to our table was so nice 😭. She told us that pairing the intestines with the green onion was the best and it was THE BEST. She kept on telling us to eat a lot and asked me when I was paying if we had a good meal 🥹.

The fried rice was served after we ate most of the meat! It was a good way to end the meal! I can’t wait to take my parents here too. We all love intestines 😆.
