Gyeongbokgung Palace and Bukcheon Hanbok Village – NCT 127 went here and BTS performed Idol & Mikrokosmos here (How to go and where to rent hanbok: 3355 Hanbok Rental)

One of my best friends was with me during this trip and she wanted to wear a Hanbok and go around Gyeongbokgung Palace. I wanted to fulfill one of her dreams and her bucket list so we decided to go to Gyeongbokgung Palace and Bukcheon Hanbok Village.

ATTENTION: Gyeongbokgung Palace is closed on Tuesdays.

Okay, so the first thing that we did was to rent a hanbok so we went to Bukcheon Hanbok Village.

1. Get down at Anguk Station (line 3)
2. Go out of exit 2

walk straight as you go out of exit 2

We decided to rent our hanbok at 3355 Hanbok Rental. We didn’t want to be too far from the station when we have to return the hanboks.

we chose 3 hours since I have a feeling 2 hours will be too short for us (I was right!)

the people at 3355 Hanbok Rental will help you wear your hanbok

you can rent the head piece and bag for free! (yes you can ask them to do your hair for an additional charge)

Walking around Gyeongbokgung Palace and Bukcheon Hanbok Village:

The palace is not that hard to find and the village. Their structures are huge, you just have to follow the roads

Don’t panic when you see this, just enter and walk-in. Gyeongbokgung Palace is inside! Free entry to everyone wearing a hanbok!
