Before you reach Shinsaibashi, you’ll be walking through Ebisubashi, which is beside Dotonbori.
Ebisubashi is filled with shops and cafes, just like Shinsaibashi so it’s normal to be confused if and ask yourself “Am I in Ebisubashi or Shinsaibashi?”
So how do you know if you are in Shinsaibashi?
Simple, there is a sign on top before you enter the alley that says “Shinsaibashi”

As mentioned earlier, Ebisubashi is the one beside Dotonbori and their sign looks like this
How do you get to Shinsaibashi?
From the Glico Man sign, you will walk the whole Ebisubashi, and you’ll eventually end up at Shinsaibashi.
There are a lot of stores at Shinsaibashi. From clothes to shoes, to cafes, to arts and crafts. They also have a lot of stores that sell second-hand luxury items!
